IMACITIGIRL: Make ‘em go, oh ,oh , oh

by snapped4style on July 10, 2012

The biggest question on this hot, blazing, beautiful 4th of July day was “Where should we go to see the fireworks ?”.  I really lucked out this year thanks to my friend Vera.

This is Verrrrrraaaaa :) She was planning on seeing the boom boom pow at her friend’s apartment who has one of the sickest views of NYC ever in Chelsea and she extended her invite to me.

This is it…view 1 on the Hudson. See that teeny little boat on the water with red lights far far away..that’s the Macy’s barge and as soon as I saw that I knew we were in for a treat!

This is me on the other side of the balcony and a view of the building I fall in love with literally everyday…The Empire State!

Here’s Lizette on the left.  Vera kept telling me I had a twin.  I can definitely see the similarities…must be a Puerto Rican thing! She does a great impression of Ms. Napkin Head…stay tuned.

Let the show begin!

The teeny barge might’ve been far away, but the fireworks…I couldn’t have been happier.

The entire show always looks like the grand finale.

View 3: This entire balcony had a view every New Yorker dreams of….the water, the Empire State, and Tower 1 at the World Trade…that’s it to the left with the blue lights.  I also loved the glow of the cars passing by.As promised, Lizette as Ms. Napkin head. I’m guessing some relationship to Mr. Napkin Head in The Holiday. :)

Cheers. Christine
